TAIPEI, TAIWAN / December 06, 2001 - SINA (Nasdaq: SINA), a leading Chinese media and Internet services company, announces today its strategic alliance with Instant Reaction Enterprise Group (INSREA), a leading Korean gaming licenser, to target the fast growing China game market.
The first of a series of paid online action games to be introduced to SINA users, X-Tank, a 3-D instant shooting online game, has set a record of over 10,000 battles played simultaneously on the Internet within the first few months of introduction in 2000 in Korea.
